I wonder if you could roll this yourself as a GitHub action.
my action is doing a `find /` while i figure things out; trying to render this output kills github's UI for several seconds
github actions rambling
the github action text UI is _weird_. if you use browser search, it only finds results in the part of the text that's visible.
you can! i just did it: https://github.com/OddBloke/store-pr-metadata-action
Extremely rough ATM, but on merge it will clone your repo, fetch metadata about the PR from GitHub (currently: the repr of the PyGithub PR object, but that's sufficient for the POC), store it as a note and push it back to your branch.
you can see this in action in https://github.com/OddBloke/test-repo; if you clone it then run `git fetch origin refs/notes/\*:refs/notes/\*`, you'll see the note in `git log`s output.
ooh, ok, so gerrit already does do some of this at least: http://alblue.bandlem.com/2011/11/git-tip-of-week-git-notes.html
