Imagine if code hosting platforms attached the full comment history of code reviews to merge commits as a git note.

I wonder if you could roll this yourself as a GitHub action.

you can! i just did it:

Extremely rough ATM, but on merge it will clone your repo, fetch metadata about the PR from GitHub (currently: the repr of the PyGithub PR object, but that's sufficient for the POC), store it as a note and push it back to your branch.

you can see this in action in; if you clone it then run `git fetch origin refs/notes/\*:refs/notes/\*`, you'll see the note in `git log`s output.
