Note: "Wrestle Town" in this document refers to the Wrestle Town Mastodon instance at https://wrestle.town. "The administrators" refers to the administrators on this organization: currently @Odd_Bloke@wrestle.town.
Wrestle Town is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
This code of conduct applies to all Wrestle Town spaces, including public channels, private channels and direct messages, both online and off. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the administrators.
The administrators will not act on complaints regarding:
If you are being harassed by a member of Wrestle Town, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact an administrator (listed at the top of this document) directly or file a report using the Mastodon reporting system (click the "..." on a post and then use the reporting feature).
The admins reserve the right to exclude people from Wrestle Town based on their past behavior, including behavior outside Wrestle Town spaces and behavior towards people who are not in Wrestle Town. We will not name harassment victims without their affirmative consent.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the administrators may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from all Wrestle Town spaces and identification of the participant as a harasser to other Wrestle Town members or the general public.
The administrators reserve the right to update the Code of Conduct at any time at their discretion. Updates to the CoC will be communicated to users via email and posts from admin accounts. If you have any concerns about or suggestions for the CoC, please contact an administrator via DM.

The data you post here lives on a server that Daniel Watkins runs. He promises that he won't look at your private data. You are just going to have to trust him on this.
This is, however, an ActivityPub federated server. This means that other people on other federated servers can find you, send you messages, etc. This also means that any information you put in posts, whether they are public or private, might end up "federated" -- basically, a copy of your post gets put on any server that reads your post.
If you want decent privacy (the info doesn't leave this server), the only way to do that is to set your account to private, only accept friend requests from other wrestle.town users, and only ever @ mention other wrestle.town users. Once you start talking to people on other servers, all bets are off. Any private message you send to someone on another server could be looked at by the admin of a different server. This is kind of like email: if you are on a private email server, and you send an unencrypted email to a gmail account, congrats, Google now has the content of that email. But also, you do this every day, so, hey. The internet!
This privacy policy is based on one originally written by Darius Kazemi and provided under a Creative Commons Zero License, meaning the contents are in the public domain. Daniel Watkins has made modifications to it for this server, and this modified document is released under the same license.
